Indie Revolution Expo (IRX) was founded in 2015 in relation to Indie Game Riot. The idea spawned from the show's goals of uplifting and spotlighting indie games and eventually grew into a full-fledged event revolving around the entire indie game community. The expo is focused on providing as much access, support and growth as possible to anyone involved with indie games. To do this, IRX has committed to an event that is accessible to everyone by making it free access for everyone and totally digital so that anyone can participate, even from home.

Leading up to the start of IRX, the IRXJam goes on for two weeks as developers from all over create games base don a common theme. During IRX, those games are shown off and subsequently judged so that a winner can be named along with $100 prize to help them get their game on Steam once it's fully developed.

During the expo, trailers and live gameplay spotlight games that have been submitted, while insightful and entertaining presentations are broadcast by various members of the industry. There is also live music, giveaways and even an award ceremony to cap off the entire event.

Finally, as the event wraps up, the winner of the "Most Revolutionary Game" award is given a digital badge to promote their award-winning game as they please as well as being commemorated in the central theme of the next year's logo design for IRX.

Each and every year, we hope for IRX to grow, more games to be shown and more panels to be presented. With that said, we also hope to see you and many, many more at the next Indie Revolution Expo!
